Printed Beauties: Actors Mireille Enos and Rosario Dawson, "The Captive" photo-call, 67th Annual Cannes Film Festival

Today, there was a "Photo-call" for the thriller film "The Captive" at the 67th Annual Cannes Film Festival. "The Captive" actors Mireille Enos and Rosario Dawson were there, dressed and ready: both actresses gave you printed dresses...

Rosario Dawson in Sportmax: Rosario opted for a Jackson Pollack-inspired printed sleeveless below-the-knee dress with asymmetrical peplum detail from Italian brand Sportmax's Fall 2014 collection. Sportmax is part of the MaxMara Italian Fashion empire. Here it is on the runway:

Mireille Enos in Dolce & Gabbana: U.S. actress Mireille Enos wore an almond-colored blossom-print silk organza cap sleeve "tent dress" from Dolce & Gabbana. Enos is pregnant, by the way with the baby due this summer.

Printed Ladies: Both actresses looked quite lovely in printed dresses at the 67th Cannes Film Festival.

WHO WORE WHAT?.....67th Annual Cannes Film Festival, Day Two "Mr Turner" Premiere Red Carpet Hits and One Mess

Blake Lively in Chanel Haute Couture Spring 2014--Day Tow of the 67th Cannes Film Festival--"Mr Turner" Premiere

Tonight was "Day Two" of the 67th Annual Cannes Film Festival and the Premiere of the much-acclaimed (as opposed to last night's "Grace of Monaco" premiere) film "Mr. Turner"--the British bio pic based on the eccentric British painter J. M. W. Turner. The film is selected to compete for the Palm d'Or, the Top Prize at the Cannes Film Festival, and some critics say it might just get it. But let's just get to the more important stuff: the "Who Wore What?" red carpet...

Blake Lively in Chanel Haute Couture Spring 2014: Lively wore a silk organza dress with hand-applied sequins and applique from Chanel Haute Couture. The dress--and silk chiffon shawl--were shown on the runway with those now-infamous Chanel Couture $400 sneakers. Thank goodness Blake chose to wear the look with heels; if you're going to wear a borrowed $100,000 Chanel Couture dress, wear them with heels darling...

Julianne Moore in custom Louis Vuitton: Actress Julianne Moore dazzled in this custom-made Louis Vuitton leather and ziberline with metallic accent gown. It was a modern and very chic look.  Her hair and makeup were sublime.

Liya Kebede in Roberto Cavalli: Model Liya Kebede added a major "Sexy" factor at the 67th Annual Cannes Film Festival red carpet in this Roberto Cavalli black and violet sequined mini-dress.

Zoe Saldana in Jason Wu Fall 2014: Actress Zoe Saldana walked the "Mr Turner" Premiere in this bias-cut gown with jade-green accents from U.S. designer Jason Wu. The gown has a very 1920s/1930s vibe but to be honest, it does not have enough of a red carpet impact to make a strong impression at the Cannes Film Festival.

And then, there's Miss Lenina...

Elena Lenina: Oooooh GURL!!! Of course Russian Reality TV "star" Elena Lenina had to attend this premiere; what else is she going to do? And naturally, she had her hair done in a "kooky" bun and accessorized her fuchsia column gown with big ol' silver Xmas ornaments. Naturally. Well, at least her silver clutch matches her silver over-sized "necklace". Oh, and in case you forgot, this is what she wore the night before:

Yep: Queen Mess. Love you Elena Lenina.

WHO WORE WHAT?.....67th Annual Cannes Film Festival Opening Ceremony Premiere of "Grace of Monaco"

Nicole Kidman and Tim Roth--67th Annual Cannes Film Festival Opening Ceremony--Premiere of "Grace of Monaco"

Tonight was the Opening Ceremony to the 67th Annual Cannes Film Festival in the South of France. As it's been tradition in the recent years, this red carpet rivals the Academy Awards. This year was no different. And as it's always been the case: it's always more "Fashion Fun" in Cannes; actors take more of a "fashion risk" when they are in Europe. And I LOVE that.

Black Tie and Gowns: View of the 67th Annual Cannes Film Festival Red Carpet

This year's Opening Night film was the very controversial "Grace of Monaco", loosely based on American actress Grace Kelly and her marriage to Prince Rainier of Monaco. Actress Nicole Kidman plays Grace Kelly and Tim Roth plays the Monaco prince. The film has not gotten the stamp of approval from the Monaco Royal family (Prince Albert of Monaco is not happy!) but that has not hampered the excitement--even by the Monegasque residents--to want to go see the film. And naturally, it's gotten a huge buzz at Cannes. Oh, and PS: I cannot wait to see it, whenever it hits the States, thank you very much.

Palm Fab: Model Karlie Kloss on the 67th Annual Cannes Film Festival Red Carpet

Now, let's get to the Hits--and One Mess--of the Opening Night Ceremony of the 67th Annual Cannes Film Festival...

Nicole Kidman in Armani Prive Haute Couture Spring 2014--Nicole Kidman wore an violet blue silk organza lace applique and sequined gown from Armani Prive Spring 2014. Armani Prive is the Haute Couture "arm" of Giorgio Armani and just to remind you, this gown (if ordered and purchased) could set you back about $100,000. It's custom and all hand-made (Nicole got it for free, kids, trust). Speaking of custom, as you can see from the runway photo, the original sample had a straight strapless neckline while the one made for Kidman, was changed into a sweetheart neckline.

Jane Fonda in Elie Saab Haute Couture Fall 2013--Four words: Go On Jane Fonda. Fitness and Movie Icon Jane Fonda did not disappoint tonight wearing this figure hugging wine red colored silk chiffon and hand-sequined gown from Elie Saab Haute Couture Fall 2013. Just to remind you, Fonda is 76 years old. I want to look THAT FAB at 76. Just saying. Oh and I would not be surprised if Miss Jane fit into the Runway Sample; it sure looks like it. It's another one of those $100,000+ costing gowns so it's better that the Elie Saab Haute Couture Atelier didn't have to create another one.

Carole Bouquet in Chanel Haute Couture Spring 2014--French actress and model icon--and Jury Member of the 67th Cannes Film Festival--Carole Bouquet, wore an ivory sequined  halter-style gown from Chanel Haute Couture Spring 2014. Bouquet looked marvelous and very elegant. I loved the pop of color with her red clutch. Also, notice that the original runway sample was loose from the underbust...but for Bouquet, it was created into a fitted waist-cinching silhouette.

Paz Vega in Elie Saab Haute Couture Spring 2014: Actress Paz Vega wore a creme sequined and silk chiffon tea-length cocktail dress from  Elie Saab Haute Couture Spring 2014. On the runway, it was shown with a matching loose sequined cardigan. I think she wisely chose (or her stylist) to not wear it. The dress is elegant, very chic. It's also exquisitely made (Hello! It's Haute Couture!).

Laeticia Casta in Christian Dior Haute Couture Spring 2014:  Another Haute Couture Cannes Film Festival-wearer--French actress/model/icon Laeticia Casta. Casta wore a strapless ivory gown form Christian Dior Haute Couture Spring 2014. The gown is designed by Raf Simmons and yes, it's another one of those + $100,000+ costing ones (if you were to actually to order and buy it)...

Runway: The Dior Haute Couture gown features petal-like sequined cut-outs that move marvelously as the wearer moves with the dress. There's also an entire boned bustier inside holding it all up. And yes, all made by hand.

Zhang Ziyi in Stephane Rolland Haute Couture Spring 2014: Chinese actress, model and Fashionista Zhang Ziyi looked stunning at tonight 67th Annual Cannes Film Festival Opening Ceremony Red Carpet wearing a Stephane Rolland Haute Couture Spring 2014 gown. The gown features black patent leather pieces hand-sewn into nude illusion with ivory silk gazar and organza skirt with asymmetrical side ruffles....

Fabulous: Zhang Ziyi in Stephane Rolland Haute Couture Spring 2014

Zoe Saldana in Victoria Beckham Fall 2014: Actress Zoe Saldana wore a Grecian-inspired gown from Victoria Beckham Fall 2014 collection. The gown featured a tank neckline, fan-pleated long skirt, copper trimmed belt and bouillonne detail. This was quite a simple look for Zoe and especially for the Cannes Film Festival. Not sure if I liked...What do you guys think?

Karlie Kloss in Valention RTW Spring 2014: Model Karlie Kloss wore a lace purple-and-teal gown with batwing/cape detail from Valentino Ready-to-Wear Spring 2014 collection. The dress was very dramatic and naturally, Miss Karlie WORKED it overtime...

Back Model Diva: Model Karlie Kloss in Valentino RTW Spring 2014, 67th Annual Cannes Film Festival Opening Ceremony

Nadja Auermann in Dolce & Gabbana Alta Moda Spring 2014: 90s model Nadja Auermann--she was infamous for having the LONGEST legs in the model world at the time--wore a flower appliqued strapless cocktail dress from Dolce & Gabbana Alta Moda. I thought she looked GORGEOUS; very Grace Kelly.

The Cannes Mess:

Elena Lenina--Russian TV Personality Elena Lenina gets the award for "Kookiest Outfit" on the Opening Ceremonies Day of the 67th Annual Cannes Film Festival. Tonight she wore a red organza ball gown with pleated bustier, petal detail drop-shoulders and cascading ruffled dress. Oh, and yes, then she finished it off with a crystal crown. #WhatTheHaillll? She gets my "Nick Tackylicious" Award. In case this was a surprise to anyone who hasn't been following Miss Lenina and the Cannes Film Festival red carpet...

Here is a Gallery of what she's wore to the previous Cannes Film Festivals:

Hair Krazee: Alina Lenina at Cannes

Several questions here:

Who is she? Really?

How does she get such an A-List Invitation?

What Russian BILLIONAIRE is she connected to that helps her gets these invitations?

And does that Russian billionaire own half of Cannes?

And How could any fashion designer want this in their "Press Page"? With that KRAZEE HAIR!!!???

Well, that's it for the first night of Cannes 2014.
