Nick Verreos--Project Runway: Under The Gunn Episode 7 "Steampunk Chic"--Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising/FIDM Los Angeles
Last week on Project Runway: "Under The Gunn", it was all about "Avant-Garde" and the theme was "Steampunk". I blogged about my "Nick's Take/Inside Dish" HERE and so now it's time to discuss my "Mentor Style" for that episode. Let's begin with what I wore for the "Announcement" of the challenge. This took place at Griffith Park's Travel Town Museum. In the episode you see me looking like this:

Layerin' Mentor: It was a very early "call time" before we headed to our undisclosed destination, and so I brought my Zara trench coat to keep warm and then, it was off for the filming--the rest of my look--(and all my looks) were styled by my NIKOLAKI huney David Paul--this look consisted of a bright peach-colored jacket from ASOS, Zara jeans, a striped bow tie from Marc Jacobs and Florsheim by Duckie Brown "Saddle Shoes".
Runway/Judging Day:
Steampunk Mentor Fashion: Nick Verreos (far right) and with fellow "Project Runway: Under The Gunn" mentors Mondo Guerra and Anya Ayoung-Chee--Episode 7 "Steampunk Chic"
Since by now, we knew it was a Steampunk challenge, I went slightly that route with my Topman skinny black pants and striped pink dress shirt...
A J. Lindeberg shawl-collar tuxedo jacket and "Burberry"-esque "Bolo" bow tie--both items I bought at my favorite consignment boutique, Sui Generis San Francisco (above photo). Oh and that lace trimmed pocket hankie, it is from my Dad.
That's it for now...Don't Miss THIS WEEK'S new "Project Runway; Under The Gunn" episode airing Thursday 9/8c on Lifetime!
